1 in 6 women will experience rape or an attempted rape in their lifetime.

For men that is 1 in 33. That's not "nearly the same rate.

Black people experience police brutality at three times the same rate as whites and there is a long history of the criminal punishment system being used in discriminatory ways to oppress and disenfranchise Black people, from the roots of policing in slave patrols to vagrancy laws to the convict leasing system to stop and frisk. That is why it's a "Black issue"

In terms of issues that "disproportionately" effect men ... Suicide isn't a "men's issue" because despite the fact that men successfully commit suicide at disproportionate rates, women attempt suicide more. They just tend to use different means. (i.e. pills instead of guns).
