As I mentioned, one of their leaders (JL Van Dyke) threatened multiple journalists and activists, including me. And was literally arrested for a plot to do violence against one. The Proud Boys showed up on the doorstep of comedy video producer Vic Berger and tried to intimidate him. They routinely post racist and antisemitic content on their Telegram. They’ve doxxed people and erroneously mass-reported journalists they didn’t like to get them kicked off twitter. These are all fascist tactics.

Also, they’re allied with the American Guard, whose founder Brien James was a skinhead and their entire leadership is former skinheads and Klansmen.
