Does this look like the campaign event of a strong frontrunner?

Biden is maxing out at 500 in high school gyms with crowds whose median age is 50. Sanders is filling stadiums.

You can quote polls all you want (Sanders has been beating Trump in head to heads consistently since 2015 by the way), but other factors like excitement and ground game matter. Sanders has more than a million volunteers who are fired up, sending texts, phone banking and knocking on doors. He has amassed a $100 million war chest in 2019 and his fundraising isn’t slowing. In Q4 he out-fundraised Joe by $12 million and outspent him 2-to-1.

These are the hard material factors that win elections, not a bunch of abstract stuff like “immunity to scandal” or what have you.

Show me one person—just one—who is palpably enthusiastic about Joe Biden.
