Expenses are capital not labor. Just because things periodically need to be fixed on a house doesn't mean that the landlord is the one actually doing the work. So I stand by that statement.
Paying for upkeep on property you own doesn't make it a "service" either.
And yeah, I don't have a lot of experience maintaining a house. I do have a lot of experience begging and pleading a landlord to fix things and him not doing it until I called the city inspector on him.
