For the last time, none of the stuff you cite relies on data that includes a measure of the socioeconomic status of each person killed by police, therefore it is impossible to make a conclusion about whether race is not a predictive factor above and beyond SES.
The professor you cite just assumes every single person killed by police is poor, which is an erroneous assumption that is a priori unlikely.
They don't define what "poor" means. Does it mean below the federal poverty level? If so, then there's no way everyone killed by the cops is "poor." Does it mean below the median?
This blog would never pass peer review because this is an asinine methodology.
And there's a huge difference between a satellite campus and the main university. UT Austin isn't the same as UT San Antonio or Dallas. Just because U of T is high-ranking, doesn't mean Missassauga is.
