I think most of them aren’t accepting submissions anymore. I’m not sure if this is the case for all of them, but I know Human Parts has moved to a different model where they are just finding stories they like that are already published and asking people to submit to them.

I’ve tried emailing pitches and drafts to GEN and not gotten any response whatsoever, but I’ve had a few cases where they’ve reached out to me and offered to publish my story, but then once I accept, nothing happens. Same thing happened with The Startup.

Don’t really know what’s going on there.
