It’s interesting that you picked this as a reason why it’s so urgent to defeat Trump. Obama put children in cages. Obama deported more than Trump. Obama militarized the border. Obama prosecuted activists who provided vital aid to people crossing the border. The Republicans used this fact to engage in whataboutism, thereby making it harder for the Dems to effectively weaponize the issue politically.
Biden will put children in cages, too. Bernie Sanders is the only candidate calling for the abolition of ICE.
