It’s not really “good evidence” for either side. Given the flaws, it deemed “inconclusive” by its own authors. There were no controls for most of the relevant environmental factors. The black children were older when they were adopted and had changed foster homes more times on average than the rest of the sample. There was no control for mother’s education or health of the child at birth, such as birth weight.
