None of the people I’m referring to are “pointing out the problem.” The problem, which I am pointing out, is that there are entire systems designed to disenfranchise marginalized people and to reproduce the status quo. As a result, states like Texas have political leaders who don’t reflect the will of the citizens. If these folks were correctly pointing fingers at the leaders themselves, I would have no problem with them. Instead, they mock the victims of these same systems.

Furthermore, I don’t really consider “moderate” (which is to say “conservative”) liberals to be my “allies.”
