OK one last time and then I’m done because it’s obvious you don’t want to have a civilized and constructive debate. You just want to talk at me and not with me.
You call yourself a “skeptic,” a term that connotes rationality but you’re obviously one of those “skeptics” who fetishizes intellectualism while lacking any ability to engage with ideas on anything other than the most mechanistic, literal level.
I never once said criticism of Islam is racist in an of itself. I said it is possible to be racist against Muslims because it is and even though there are valid criticisms of particular aspects of Islam, a lot of people aren’t making any sort of nuanced critique of it. They’re simply regarding Muslims as a big scary Other.
So if you want to be a skeptic, a good start is to interrogate received wisdom and orthodoxy rather than blindly following along and parroting whatever is said by Sam Harris or Jordan Peterson or TJ Kirk or whatever faux-intellectual you model your pubescent worldview on.
