The State Department under Bush formally investigated Falun Dafa's claims of concentration camps, organ harvesting, etc. and found zero evidence of any of these claims. Such charges against the PRC are routinely raised and dismissed according to whatever the foreign policy needs of the United States at the time. Their truth or falseness is entirely contingent on whether or not America needs China to be an ally or a villain. Such claims are becoming increasingly useful as the US starts to lose ground to China and needs a scapegoat to distract from its embarrassing dysfunction.
