There’s a pretty broad bipartisan consensus on most aspects of imperial foreign policy. The only difference in most cases is the “how” not “what.” PNAC was making the case for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in their report “Rebuilding America’s Defenses” a full year before 9/11, and the invasion of Afghanistan was already being prepped in summer of 2001.
PNAC founder Robert Kagan and indicted war criminal Henry Kissinger both endorsed Hillary Clinton. There was near unanimous bipartisan support for both wars. Obama drew down the Iraq War following Bush’s timeline for withdrawal, but expanded the War on Terror as a whole to new theaters.
What makes you think Gore would have done anything differently, Steve? You haven’t made your own counterargument. You just dismissed mine.
