Voting is the laziest most privileged form of “activism.” I helped organize a fundraising event for the Fair Fight Bond Fund. I did all the logistics and put up all the posters. Only ten people showed up, but I felt better about that than every single vote I cast in any presidential election.

The people who don’t vote are by and large poor and people of color. Why don’t you go lecture your garbage man or the first janitor you see?
