What “ceiling”? When he was the front runner he was beating every candidate including Joe Biden in head to head polls well beyond the margin of error.

There was actually nothing he could have changed about his campaign to overcome the effect of the entire field dropping out and endorsing Biden simultaneously or the manufactured narrative of a hostile media that Biden was more “electable.” The fact is that for a huge chunk of the electorate, the only thing they care about is beating Trump. In February, a majority of people believed that Sanders could, then before Super Tuesday the Party elites orchestrated this consolidation around the weakest possible candidate and the media propped him up. That’s it. There’s nothing more complicated than that. The Party put its thumb on the scale and there was nothing Bernie could do about it — not campaign like an “insurgent” or whatever or make overtures toward incrementalism (that’s literally what Warren did in November and She tanked$
