While you do acknowledge there are different opinions within the movement on the subject, I would caution against any broad statements about what the alt-right “thinks.” There’s a tendency to flatten them all to a generic mass of Nazis but there are substantive disputes between groups. They’re a hodgepodge of different ideologies with a set of lowest common denominators. Some are pro free market. Some want something like “white socialism.” Some are Christian. Others are atheist or Norse pagan.
I would especially warn against using any one voice to represent the movement as a whole. For example, Greg Johnson is gay, but I wouldn’t say “the alt-right is pro-LGBTQ+.” Jared Taylor is accepting of Jews and American Renaissance has several Jewish members, but I wouldn’t say “the alt-right is philosemitic.” You get the idea.
