Why do people think picking the right VP is going to somehow compensate for Biden’s glaring inadequacies as a candidate? Biden was only named VP to convince racist white conservatives that it was safe to vote for a black man. That trick doesn’t work in reverse. Biden is a conservative, and aside from a tiny sliver of Never Trumpers, the right will stick with Trump. Biden will recreate the Clinton coalition but with less enthusiasm and money. He will lose and Trump will get re-elected.
