You know there’s a difference between winning the primary and winning an election right? In the primary the outcome can be somewhat managed by a friendly media that has strong ties to the Democratic Party. Boomers who watch MSNBC 10 hours a day, i.e. Biden’s main base, will listen when some hack like James Carville says that Biden is reliable and Bernie is Putin’s puppet or the new Hitler or whatever they want to push.

But in the general you’re going to have to deal with people who are outside of that echo chamber who can’t be corralled into voting for whoever Rachel Maddow tells them to. Biden’s going to have to do Fox News debates where people aren’t going to tiptoe around the fact that his brain is dying.

Biden is objectively worse than Hillary in all areas except for the fact that he has a folksy personality and he’s a social conservative, which might have some crossover appeal. On the other hand, most of his folksy personality is dulled by whatever they got him doped up on. Did you see his mini-super Tuesday speech? He looked like walking death.

And all the media just polished the hell out of that turd, ex.

Bernie, his other opponents, and the media have handled him with kid gloves. Do you think Trump is gonna go easy on him? The conservative press?
